Local Regular Bike Rides 

Welcome! We love meeting new people no matter what type of bike you ride. Great relationships are forged by bike and great memories are made in the process. 

If you're looking for our regular, weekly bike rides both on and off road, you have hit the right page! However, if you are looking for our special  events, click the button below to navigate to that page.

"Brooksville Mafia" Mountain Bike Rides 

The Brooksville Mafia rides Tuesday and Thursday evenings from the firetower in Croom and promptly ride out at 6pm. There are several pace groups but at a minimum you should be able to ride 12-16 miles. Most of the riding is cross country with some sandy spots. Advanced sections do have cut-arounds. Night Lights are highly recommended as we often get caught after dark.

When: Tuesday and Thursday 

Where: Croom Firetower, 26416 County Rd 480 W, Brooksville, FL 34601

Time: Rollout 6pm sharp

Shop Road Rides Tuesdays - Crank Works Brooksville

We host a road ride on Tuesday nights from the bike shop. Rides are almost entirely on the Good Neighbor and Withlacoochee Trails. We are currently riding 30-35 miles with an average speed of 14-15 mph. **Rolling speed is higher. Please call or message us on social media to let us know if you are interested in joining us. 

When: Every Tuesday night

Time: 5:30 pm 

Shop Mixed Terrain Ride Thursdays - Crank Works Brooksville

Our Thursday night ride leaves from the bike shop and is a mix of paved and off road riding in Croom. These are a great ride if you have a hardtail mountain bike, gravel bike with a wider tire, or an adventure style bike. The ride changes weekly and could cover ground on the paved Good Neighbor or Withlacoochee Trails along with the mountain bike trails or two-track roads in Croom. We are currently riding an average of 20-30 miles with an average speed of 12-13 mph. **Rolling speed on road could be higher and slower off-road. Time: 5:30 pm 

Tuesday Night Road Ride - Ocala

This is a fast ride, leaving from the Riley Performing Arts Center at 6pm. Ride is approximately 40 miles with a fast 12 mile warm up. There are 2 regroup points for riders that fall off the back but are in sight of the group. This is a drop ride with an overall average of 23 mph, 24-25 rolling speed.

Ocala Mountain Bike Association - Providing responsible stewardship of Mountain Biking opportunities in partnership with the State of Florida Office of Greenways and Trails.

SWAMP Mountain Bike Club - Promotes great mountain biking on Florida trails to riders of all skill levels with guided rides, trail workdays and Fat Tire Festivals. Maintains 4 mountain bike trail parks near Tampa, Florida. - Offering statewide resources for recreational and competitive cycling, including events calendar and results and links to local clubs. - The Ultimate Southeast mountain biking and Xterra race promoter.

Florida PANTHERS Tandem Club - The Florida Panthers Tandem Club is dedicated to giving tandem enthusiasts an opportunity to ride their bikes with other like-minded teams all over the state of Florida. They sponsor weekly, monthly and special event rides and rallies.

The St. Petersburg Bicycle Club - St. Petersburg Bicycle Club in St. Pete, FL. Join us for great rides every day of the year!

Suncoast Cycling - Club rides and events located around the area of Palm Harbor, FL.

Stewy's Skate Park - Skate park located in Spring Hill, FL.

International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) - A non-profit, public-supported organization. Promotes mountain bicycling opportunities that are environmentally and socially responsible.
